FAQ & guides
Tournament registration, rating, licenses and player profiles — short and step by step.
Tournament registration
How do I register a team?
🏐 For players
- 1Open the tournament in the Calendar and press «Register» for your category in the Registration block.
- 2Player 1: start typing your last name and pick yourself from the list. If you are not in the database, tick «Not in DB — fill manually» and enter your name, birthdate, city and photo.
- 3Player 2 (partner): find your partner the same way. The players you have teamed up with most often are offered under the field — one click picks them.
- 4Check the birthdate and city and correct them in the form if needed. Mind the license mark: without a paid license the tournament gives no rating points.
- 5Enter your email and phone, and choose «Player» in «Who is registering?».
- 6Press «Submit pair registration». The pair appears in the participants list right away as «Under review», then «Approved» once the federation has checked it.
📋 For coaches
- 1One form is one pair. To enter several pairs, submit the form once for each.
- 2Find both players in the database (or fill in their details manually if they are not there).
- 3In «Who is registering?» choose «Coach» and enter your name. If a second coach works with the pair, press «Add second coach».
- 4Enter your own email and phone: the federation will contact you. Remind your players to pay the license before the tournament, or it gives them no points.
- 5At youth tournaments the form shows whether each player fits the age group by year of birth; players who are too old are marked red.
- 6The status of every pair («Under review» / «Approved») is shown in the tournament's participants list.
How do I know the registration was accepted?
Right after submitting, the pair appears in the tournament's Participants list as «Under review». Once the federation has checked it, the status becomes «Approved». Declined registrations are not listed.
A player is not in the database
Tick «Not in DB — fill manually» and enter the name, birthdate, city and photo. The federation checks these details together with the registration.
I need to change or withdraw a registration
Do not submit the form again — contact the federation via the Contacts page.
Youth tournaments
Who can play in the U17 (U19, U21…) age group?
Only the year of birth counts: the player must turn N − 1 or younger in the tournament's year. For U17 in 2026 that is players born in 2010 or later. The registration page shows the cut-off year for each tournament and the form marks players who do not fit.
Rating
How is the entry rating calculated?
Take the player's last 4 tournaments within 52 weeks and add up the best 3 results. The entry rating is used for seeding.
How is the technical rating calculated?
The sum of points from every tournament in the current week and the 51 before it. Each Monday the oldest week drops out.
License
What does «License 2026-2027» on a profile mean?
Whether the player's license for the current season is paid. A season runs from November 1 to October 31. The federation updates the status after payment.
Do I get rating points without a paid license?
No. A tournament played before the license payment date gives 0 rating points. Every tournament after the payment date counts as usual, so pay the season's license before your first tournament.
Player profile
How do I update my profile (photo, city, height…)?
Open your profile, press «Оновити профіль» (Update profile), change the fields you need and send the request. The changes appear once the federation approves them. Step-by-step guide (UA) →
